German Apple Cake


Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 C. Flour
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 C. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 C. brown sugar
  • 3/4 C. white sugar
  • 1/2 C. chopped nuts
  • 4 C. Apples - slice thin

Mix all ingredients except apples and nuts. Batter will be stiff. Stir in apples and nuts with spoon. Spread in 9x13" pan. Bake 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees.

Frosting Ingredients:

  • Two 3 oz. Cream cheese
  • 1 Stick margarine
  • 1 lb. Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

Sprinkle pecans on top of cake.
